PV Associate (PVA)

BDW Clean Energy Apprenticeship offers the following:

Certificate of Completion for the  Solar PV Boot Camp + NABCEP PV Associate Exam Prep - 22 Hours


This course fulfills the training requirements to sit for the NABCEP PV Associate exam.  NABCEP PV Associate Practice Exams provided


Approved for the following:

CEUs - 30 AIA LU/HSW Credits & 18 NABCEP PV Training Hours        (passing score on the PV Associate exam required)

NABCEP maintains an online Associate Directory, which can be used to verify an individual’s type of credential, credential number, and expiration date.

What is the NABCEP Associate Credential?

The NABCEP Associate Program recognizes individuals who have demonstrated knowledge of the fundamental principles of the application, design, installation, and operation of Photovoltaic or Solar Heating energy systems.

Exam Requirements

Successfully complete a photovoltaics training course with a NABCEP Associate Registered Training Provider. We will register Apprentice to take the exam after required course completion. 


The Solar Educational Provider for BDW Apprenticeship is a         NABCEP Registered Provider, a NABCEP PV Associate Exam provider and the official NABCEP PV Associate training partner of the                      NABCEP 2025 CE Conference
